Job Scope
- Support Recruitment Planning and Forecasting by maintaining historical data on faculty hires, vacancies, and turnover trends. Assist leadership in identifying recruitment needs through data analysis and workforce planning tools.
- Monitor Search Processes and Progress by tracking status of active searches, including candidate pools, interview stages, and offer approvals.
- Analyse applicant pools to assess diversity metrics, qualifications, and competitiveness. This can be shared with management via dashboards and visualizations developed for recruitment outcomes by department, discipline, and demographic factors.
- Help identify gaps and opportunities to improve recruitment equity and effectiveness.
- Analyse data to support strategic planning and decision-making for faculty recruitment, onboarding, reappointment, tenure and promotion processes.
- Visualize and communicate data insights clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of faculty appointments, credentials, and professional activities.
- Track and report on faculty development programs, awards, and research contributions.
- Generate regular and ad hoc reports on faculty demographics, appointments, tenure/promotion status, teaching loads, and diversity metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Familiarity with managing data-related projects
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Good understanding of faculty information systems (eg. Interfolio, Workday)
- Good knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and data entry tools (eg. Microsoft Excel, Access)
