Job summary

A leading procurement firm in Singapore is looking for a Procurement Manager to oversee strategic sourcing and procurement of labor services. Responsibilities include developing tender strategies, negotiating contracts, and ensuring supplier compliance. The ideal candidate has a degree and 3-4 years of relevant experience. Job Responsibilities

As part of the PSA Singapore Procurement team you will be responsible for the strategic sourcing and procurement of labour services related to engineering / operations. Your responsibilities include :

  • Work with the user departments to design tender strategies that meet PSAs needs for cost effectiveness and quality.
  • Translate the strategy into tender documents with clear and detailed specifications
  • Draft contract documents that detail contractors responsibilities and liabilities and safeguard PSAs interests
  • Perform analysis of the tender submissions and negotiate with suppliers for best value
  • Complete tenders on time and perform post-contract management with internal stakeholders ensuring suppliers meet their contractual obligations
  • Identify and manage risks that may arise during the contract tenure
  • Work on sustainable procurement frameworks to align suppliers with PSAs corporate goal of sustainability
Requirements
  • Possess a degree with at least 3 to 4 years of experience in sourcing and procurement
  • A good understanding of strategic sourcing, tendering process, contract management, contract negotiation and contract governance
  • Excellent communication skills, effective influencing and negotiation skills
  • Able to establish good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders for effective sourcing process
  • Resourceful, driven, able to drive innovation, champion change and work collaboratively to achieve results
  • Familiarity with e-procurement tools (e.g. SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, Zycus) is an advantage
  • CIPS or CPSM certification or progress towards it will be viewed favourably
