A leading food company in Singapore seeks a professional with at least 5 years of experience in procurement and operations, particularly in the FMCG or dairy/food industry. The role involves sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, overseeing operations, and driving process improvements within the supply chain. Candidates are expected to hold a relevant bachelor's degree and possess strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement
    • Source and negotiate with suppliers for dairy raw materials and related products to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
    • Conduct supplier performance evaluations and maintain long-term vendor partnerships.
    • Monitor market trends, pricing, and risks to support strategic sourcing decisions.
    • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracts, and sustainability standards.
  • Operations
    • Oversee daily operations and supply chain activities within the dairy business, ensuring smooth end-to-end processes from procurement to delivery.
    • Work closely with production, quality assurance, logistics, and finance teams to align operational priorities with business needs.
    • Track and optimize inventory levels to balance supply reliability and cost efficiency.
    • Support planning, forecasting, and operational reporting to management.
    • Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, cost savings, and service levels.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Food Science, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in procurement & Operations, preferably in the FMCG or dairy/food industry.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player with a passion for delivering results and driving efficiencies.
