Job summary

A leading food and supply chain company in Singapore seeks an experienced procurement and operations professional. In this role, you will source and negotiate with suppliers for dairy raw materials and manage daily operations within the dairy business. The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree and has at least 5 years of experience in the FMCG or dairy industry, with strong negotiation and analytical skills. This position offers the opportunity to drive efficiencies and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement
    • Source and negotiate with suppliers for dairy raw materials and related products to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
    • Conduct supplier performance evaluations and maintain long-term vendor partnerships.
    • Monitor market trends, pricing, and risks to support strategic sourcing decisions.
    • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracts, and sustainability standards.
  • Operations
    • Oversee daily operations and supply chain activities within the dairy business, ensuring smooth end-to-end processes from procurement to delivery.
    • Work closely with production, quality assurance, logistics, and finance teams to align operational priorities with business needs.
    • Track and optimize inventory levels to balance supply reliability and cost efficiency.
    • Support planning, forecasting, and operational reporting to management.
    • Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, cost savings, and service levels.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Food Science, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in procurement & Operations, preferably in the FMCG or dairy/food industry.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player with a passion for delivering results and driving efficiencies.
