Assistant Manager, Corporate Communications (Webmaster) (Temporary)

You are responsible for the development and maintenance of the University’s websites. You will oversee website maintenance and functionality and work with stakeholder divisions as needed for each project. The role requires you to work closely with University contractors, the Digital Transformation Office and Communications and IT Division on web strategy, technology support, implementation and website security. You will support website maintenance and the cyclical overhaul and refresh of the sites’ “look and feel” in accordance with the University’s branding efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the University’s panel of term contractors providing web development service.
  • Provide support for the University’s collection of websites/microsites operations, ensuring that the University’s overall website presence is well‑organised, reliable, coherent and effective.
  • Work with web content contributors to strategically focus content as a key part of the overall user experience.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external agency partners.
  • Provide monthly reports on website performance, as well as progress updates on ongoing maintenance efforts and projects.
Key Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in website development and project management.
  • Positive attitude and accountability.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within the team and across teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining web applications and Content‑Management Systems (CMS) (e.g. SharePoint, Drupal).
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JS, and JQuery.
  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics (GA4) is an added advantage.
  • Understanding and implementation of Salesforce, Generative AI, and GPT is an added advantage.
