Job description
Main Purpose:

This person will manage sports content programming and channel curation and online streaming (OTT) platforms — making sure content is engaging, scheduled properly, and drives viewership.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Programming & Scheduling: Plan and manage what sports and ethnic content goes on air — balancing live matches, replays, and highlights.

2. Content Data Management: Ensure all content info (metadata, EPG, VOD listings) is accurate and easy for viewers to find.

3. Viewership Analysis: Study viewing patterns and content performance; share insights to improve programming or marketing.

4. Vendor Management: Coordinate with content vendors and channel partners to ensure quality delivery and timely schedules.

5. Content Strategy: Work with the Head of Content to plan overall sports and ethnic content lineup that attracts subscribers.

6. Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with marketing, legal, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance and promotional alignment.

6. Negotiation: Discuss and close content or rights deals with channels and content providers.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Media, Communications, or a related field

2. 5–8 years experience in: Content programming / channel management / Media strategy / content acquisition / broadcast operations

3. Negotiating content rights or vendor contracts

4. Experience with sports or ethnic content is a big plus

5. Strong at stakeholder management and coordination

6. Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and good communication skills
