Our client is a reputable Shipping MNC. Currently they are seeking a well qualified candidate to join them as " Asst / Manager (Chartering cum Operations)(Tanker) ".

In this role, you will be responsible for the following :

• Ensuring optimal utilization of the existing fleet of tankers.
• Coordinate on all ship operations as per time and spot charters and communicate closely with the Master in-charge to ensure the tanker operations are carried out smoothly.
• Be involved in claims matters and participate in negotiations of chartering contracts and prepare voyage performance for management reviews.
• Invite & obtain agencies' quotations from shipping agents before appointment
• Compare & negotiate on agency rates
• Monitor & liaise with agents on tanker movements
• Arrange pilot for Singapore inward, berthing, unberthing & outward passage
• Advise & monitor vessel's status of operation
• Prepare & instruct vessel for loading and discharging operations
• Report to charterers on the status of tanker operation
• Follow-up with customers on payment matters

Requirements:
