Job summary

Grab, Southeast Asia's leading superapp, seeks an experienced operations professional to establish Business Enablement as a hands-on improvement capability in its Platform Experience team. You will observe workflows, analyze data, redesign processes and implement AI-driven enhancements across partner and customer services.

You will be based onsite at Grab's Tampines office, with frequent travel to One North for meetings, and you will shape the AI-enabled operations roadmap while delivering

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations with live service accountability.
• Experience using dashboards to diagnose and redesign end-to-end workflows.
• Experience piloting changes and turning improvements into BAU operations.
• Applied AI/automation experience to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose operational problems through observation, data and stakeholder input; lead improvements from design to stabilisation.
• Shape and deliver the operations AI and automation roadmap, prioritising impact and feasibility.
• Build AI or automation solutions or translate needs for technical partners.
• Partner with business teams to turn ideas into processes, resource plans and service measures.
• Create process maps, SOPs, training materials and performance measures.
• Measure sustained benefits in productivity, cost, quality, risk or service experience.

Get to Know the Team

Platform Experience, part of Grab's Singapore Country Operations, manages and improves services for partners, customers and business teams. We oversee platform support and operations, while helping teams improve processes, apply AI and automation, and operationalize new projects.

Get to Know the Role

Reporting to the Head, Platform Experience, you will establish Business Enablement as a hands‑on operational improvement capability—not a product management, technology delivery or Project Management Office function.

You will work with teams to observe workflows, analyse data, identify causes, redesign processes and implement improvements. As part of the operations AI transformation programme, you will turn new ideas into operating models and improve existing workflows with AI and automation.

You will be based onsite at Grab's Tampines office, with frequent travel to the One North office for meetings.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Diagnose operational problems through workflow observation, process-owner input and data analysis; lead improvements from design and pilot through implementation and stabilisation.
• Shape and deliver the operations AI and automation roadmap, prioritising impact, feasibility, risk and scalability.
• Build simple AI or automation solutions, or translate operational needs into requirements for technical partners.
• Partner with business teams to turn new ideas into processes, resource plans, service measures and launch requirements.
• Create process maps, standard operating procedures, training materials and performance measures.
• Measure whether improvements deliver sustained benefits in productivity, cost, quality, risk or service experience.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• At least 5 years in operations, with direct accountability for a live service, workflow or performance measure.
• Experience using dashboards or equivalent tools to diagnose operational problems and redesign end-to-end workflows.
• Experience piloting changes, implementing improvements and advocating successful solutions into business‑as‑usual operations.
• Applied experience using AI, automation or latest technology to improve a workflow or decision.
• Turn broad goals into practical processes and resource plans.
• Experience influencing stakeholders while remaining hands‑on in delivery.

Good to Have

• SQL, business intelligence or basic scripting skills.
• Lean, PMP or equivalent certification.
• Experience launching operations for new products or business models, or establishing a new operations capability.
