About the Company

Long standing history with strong branding in the market, this automotive company has been the market leader in the industry that they operate in. Currently, they are hiring for an Assistant Manager (Business Control) for their Singapore business.

About the Job

You act as a key pivot for financial governance, responsible for consolidating and diligently following up on the Business Areas' financial performance while securing the accuracy and completeness of monthly closings in coordination with the Director. In this role, you will perform comprehensive financial planning and forecasting, which includes developing related processes, tools, and principles, and assisting in the coordination of the annual budgeting. You will contribute to financial processes by managing estimates and plans, and by leveraging tools like Oracle Essbase and Power BI/Tableau to prepare high-quality analysis material, visual dashboards, and management reports-such as sales, gross profit, and variance analysis-to support executive decision-making. Additionally, you will support the Director in developing accounting policies and guidelines, provide direction to the Hubs Business Control team, and participate in ad hoc projects to achieve short- and long-term organizational objectives.

Skills and Experience Required

You should ideally be Degree qualified in Finance or Accounting and possess at least 5 years of experience. Prior experience in Power BI (preferred) or Tableau is a must have. You need to be able to communicate effectively and be confident in collaborating with management staff. Prior SAP knowledge will come in as an advantage for this role.
