Income is seeking a Business Analyst Assistant Manager who blends deep domain expertise with team leadership to drive high-impact initiatives. The role leads analysis, design, testing, and operational readiness, mentoring analysts and shaping analysis capability.

The candidate will own strategic advisory within a Health Insurance domain, guide stakeholders, and ensure quality delivery across governance, testing, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Business Analysis with delivery of complex, high-impact initiatives.
• Strong Health Insurance domain knowledge and familiarity with regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting testing and training in operational environments.
• Degree in Information Technology or Business Information System; minimum 5 years BA and UAT experience.

Responsibilities

• Own domain ownership and provide strategic advisory to stakeholders for complex initiatives.
• Lead end-to-end business analysis including requirements elicitation, functional design, process optimisation and solution validation.
• Oversee user acceptance testing and ensure solutions meet business and operational requirements.
• Ensure operational readiness, training, transition to business-as-usual, and ongoing governance and continuous improvement.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The business analyst assistant manager role is a specialist leader who combines deep domain expertise with team leadership responsibilities. The role owns complex, high-impact initiatives within a specialised business domain while shaping business analysis capability, mentoring analysts and ensuring high-quality delivery, testing, and operational readiness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Domain Ownership and Strategic Advisory
  • Serve as the recognised subject matter expert within a specialised business domain, providing strategic guidance and expert advice to stakeholders.
  • Lead impact assessments, solution options and recommendations for complex or high-risk initiatives.
  • Influence business and technology decision through deep domain knowledge and structured analysis.
• Business Analysis Leadership and Delivery
  • Lead end-to-end business analysis for complex initiatives, including requirements elicitation, functional design, process optimisation and solution validation.
  • Ensure analysis outputs are consistent, high quality and aligned with business outcomes.
  • Oversee and support user acceptance testing activities, ensuring solutions meet business and operational requirements.
• Operational Readiness, Testing and Training
  • Accountable for operational readiness, including user acceptance testing, and transition to business-as-usual.
  • Ensure solutions are well understood, adopted and sustainable post-implementation.
• Governance, Quality and Continuous Improvement
  • Establish and uphold domain-specific analysis standards and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across analysis, testing and operational processes.

  • Strong domain Insurance domain knowledge, especially within the Health Insurance domain.
  • Experience supporting testing and training in operational environment.
  • Degree in Information Technology or Business Information System.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in Business Analysis and User Acceptance Testing.
