Job summary

A premium lifestyle destination resort in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee Audio Video Lighting systems across all attractions. The role requires at least 5 years of supervisory experience in AV/lighting systems and the ability to manage a team effectively. Candidates should have a degree in a relevant engineering field and strong knowledge of current technologies. The position involves shift work including weekends and holidays.

Assistant Manager, Audio Video Lighting & Controls

Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), Asia's premium lifestyle destination resort on Singapore’s island of Sentosa, is a 49‑hectare integrated resort home to attractions like Universal Studios Singapore, S.E.A. Aquarium, Adventure Cove Waterpark, the world‑class Resorts World Convention Centre, and eight luxury hotels. RWS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Genting Singapore.

Job Responsibilities
  • Plan and maintain AVL systems across all attractions, including Universal Studios Singapore, Adventure Cove Waterpark, and S.E.A. Aquarium.
  • Manage and supervise a team to ensure all maintenance and repair schedules are completed safely and on time.
  • Develop and implement a structured Preventive and Predictive Maintenance program, together with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Oversee spare‑parts planning and manage third‑party vendors for selected outsourced work.
  • Plan and manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
  • Design, plan, procure, and lead system improvement projects.
Job Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer Engineering, Multimedia or Audio‑Visual Engineering, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience managing the design and installation of Audio‑Visual and Lighting systems.
  • Preferably prior experience working in an attraction or theme‑park setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of AV servers, PC/networking, and current technologies.
  • Good knowledge of PLC, Automation, and control systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to perform shift work (day or night), including weekends and public holidays.
  • Ability to work at height.
