RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This position is for Sim Kee Boon Institute for Financial Economics (SKBI).
  • Manage various outreach and training projects in planning and execution, including administration and logistics.
  • Assist Director(s) with partnership and stakeholder management for certain projects.
  • Manage events and ensure deliverables are completed according to the timeline.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to students and volunteers.
  • Support training programs, liaise with speakers, handle faculty appointment, curriculum revision, participant recruitment and final assessment coordination.
  • Supporting the budget management and reporting processes.
  • Support research administration including implementation of surveys and reports, maintenance of data and records, liaison with research assistants, collaborators and vendors and any other related duties.
  • Assist in engagement and development of new funding sources.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree with relevant work experience in administering events, outreach, academic/training programs, preferably in academic institutions.
  • Ability to work with various stakeholders, including students, academics and partners.
  • Good project management, organisational and logistics management skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and be responsible for quality of work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team to achieve desired results.

Candidates who do not possess the stipulated qualifications but have relevant work experience may still apply. Remuneration and appointment terms shall commensurate with qualifications and experience. SMU reserves the right to modify the appointment terms where necessary.
