Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore is seeking a reliable Driver to handle collection and delivery of metal/steel goods between suppliers and customers, ensuring on‑time arrivals.

You will load/unload, check orders, plan routes, maintain vehicle, and communicate with office staff about delays. The role offers a stable full‑time position with standard hours Mon‑Fri 8am‑5pm and Saturday 8am‑3pm, with occasional early knock‑offs on lighter days.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 driving license required.
• Prior experience as a driver is essential.
• Able to lift and load heavy items safely.
• Good sense of direction and knowledge of local roads.
• Responsible, able to work independently.
• Basic communication skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Collect metal/steel materials from suppliers and deliver to customer locations on schedule.
• Load and unload goods safely and secure them for transport.
• Check delivery orders against actual goods before pickup and delivery.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes.
• Maintain delivery vehicle and report faults promptly.

About the role

We are a metal supply company looking for a reliable and responsible Driver to handle the collection and delivery of metal/steel goods between our suppliers and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Collect metal/steel materials from suppliers and deliver to customer locations on schedule
• Load and unload goods safely, ensuring proper securing during transport
• Check delivery orders/invoices against actual goods before pickup and delivery
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes
• Maintain the delivery vehicle in good condition and report any faults or issues promptly
• Communicate with suppliers, customers, and office staff regarding delivery status and any delays
• Follow safety procedures when handling heavy or bulky metal items

About you

• Valid Class 3 driving license (14ft lorry)
• Prior experience as a driver
• Able to lift and load heavy items
• Good sense of direction and familiarity with local roads
• Responsible and able to work independently
• Basic communication skills
