Job Role Summary
  • Handle with major account. Plan and execute trade promotion activities at stores level. Negotiate good deal and strike for better ROI for total company.
  • Manage trade A&P funds budget as assigned and aim to achieve both top-line and bottom-line set by the company.
  • Deep dive and understand market conditions and competitive landscape in retail business.
  • Develop sales strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Analyse market competitions and propose strategies counter react and defend market share.
Area of Responsibilities
  • Develop promotion strategies to achieve overall channel/banner target been set by the company.
  • Manage trade promotion spending within company allocated budget.
  • Propose and follow up NPDs listing/extension in banner.
  • Set operations briefing meeting with sales and merchandisers team on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Tracking service level report to prevent non-fulfilment and unnecessary penalty charges involved.
  • Quarterly or half yearly business review with customer.
  • Be transparent and provide clear communication with internal sales team, cross department peers and colleagues. ie, Trade Marketing, Marketing Ops, SCM/DP, Finance team & logistic team etc.
  • Review account management and category performance to improve business acumen.
  • Analyse sales performance to determine business grow potential.
  • Submit forecast numbers in a monthly or ad-hoc basis. Review forecast accuracy when necessary.
  • Responsible for account receivables. Monitor AR aging and coordinate with credit control and AR team.
Education and Experience
  • Diploma/Degree holder.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years in Key Account management role and function, and/or 2 to 3 years operational experience.
Professional Qualifications
  • Preferred Sales & Marketing certified.
Aptitude and Skills
  • Require dealing and managing with HQ buyers on the assigned account. Able to negotiate and strike for good deal with better ROI and profitability.
