A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an IT Operations Manager to oversee IT functions, provide technical support, and manage infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of relevant experience and a background in IT support. Responsibilities include vendor management, cybersecurity measures, and support for core business systems like Xero. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
Manage the overall IT operations, ensuring stable performance and smooth support to all users.
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support, including troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues.
Administer and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, firewalls, backup systems, and user access.
Manage vendor relationships and service contracts; serve as the primary contact for IT service providers during the transition from outsourced to in-house operations.
Support and maintain core business systems such as ERP and accounting software (e.g., Xero).
Coordinate IT procurement, software licensing, and asset management.
Implement cybersecurity measures and ensure data protection compliance.
Collaborate with management on IT strategy, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
At least 4–6 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure management.
Strong hands-on experience in end-user support and remote troubleshooting (e.g., TeamViewer).
Familiarity with network setup, firewall configuration, and IT security fundamentals.
Exposure to ERP systems or accounting software is advantageous (e.g., Vantage Point, Xero).
Self-driven and able to operate independently in a lean setup.
