Job summary

A leading human resources firm in Singapore is seeking a candidate to manage and monitor systems and infrastructure. The role requires a diploma in IT, and no previous experience is necessary as on-job training will be provided. The candidate must be willing to work on rotating standby. This position involves working in the AMK area with occasional site travel.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems and application software.
• Ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
• Monitor application performance and identify potential bottlenecks.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Participate in the design of information systems.
• Liaise with vendors for problem resolution.
• Manage the VMWare environment.
• Provide enterprise-wide support for Microsoft Windows.

Responsibilities

1. Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
2. Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
3. Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
4. Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
5. Maintain security, backup, redundancy and BCP strategies
6. Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
7. Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
8. Manage the VMWare environment
9. Provide enterprise-wide support to a high level of Microsoft Windows

Requirements

• Diploma and above in IT
• No Experience required (on-job-training provided)

5day week @ AMK area (Travel to site whenever required)
