Job Title: Assistant Investment Advisor
Location: Singapore
Department: Investment Advisory / Wealth Management
Reporting to: Senior Investment Relationship Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and analytically strong Assistant Investment Advisor to support the Investment Advisory team. This is a hybrid role with a primary focus on Research & Analytics, while also offering exposure to client engagement and relationship support. The ideal candidate is someone with a good grasp of investment products and markets, who is eager to grow into a client-facing role over time.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Analytics (Primary Responsibility)

• Conduct research and analysis on global macroeconomic trends, market outlook, and investment products.
• Prepare investment strategy notes, client briefing materials, and performance reports.
• Support the team in portfolio reviews, product comparison, and proposal generation.
• Maintain and update investment databases, fund performance trackers, and internal dashboards.

Client Support & Relationship Management

• Assist senior investment advisors in servicing HNW/UHNW clients with product-related queries and follow-ups.
• Provide basic investment product explanations and documentation to clients.
• Coordinate client onboarding, KYC, and ongoing compliance requirements.
• Prepare materials for client meetings and follow-up action items.
• Respond to day-to-day client service requests in coordination with internal teams (operations, compliance, product).

Team Support

• Support the senior investment RM with meeting preparation, post-meeting notes, and action tracking.
• Help streamline client reporting, documentation, and internal workflow processes.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects related to investment offerings, process enhancements, and market campaigns.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in investment research, client support, or a similar role in banking/wealth management.
• Strong understanding of investment products: mutual funds, bonds, equities, structured products, and portfolio concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Mandarin is a plus for China/Asia market support).
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg/Refinitiv (preferred).
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn and grow into a client‑facing role.
