Our esteemed client in the Construction industry is seeking an Assistant HSE Manager to join their dynamic team:

Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and site‑specific safety plans in compliance with all local regulations and corporate standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards; track corrective and preventive actions to closure.
- Lead incident and accident investigations, performing root cause analysis and preparing detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
- Facilitate safety training, toolbox meetings, and briefings to enhance awareness and foster a proactive safety culture among all employees and subcontractors.
- Liaise with project teams, site personnel, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental management practices, including waste management and pollution control.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all documentation, including permits, licenses, certifications, and reports.
- Support the preparation of monthly EHS reports, performance metrics (KPIs), and materials for management reviews.
- Stay current on new and evolving legislation, industry best practices, and regulatory changes.
Job Requirements
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience at a managerial or senior officer level, preferably within the construction or heavy industry sector.
- Must be a Registered WSHO and ECO.
- In‑depth knowledge of local EHS regulations, construction safety codes, and audit processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and EHS management software.
- Able to start immediately or in short notice.
