Responsibilities
  • Direct and guide Room Attendants to ensure that all guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and floor corridors are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and tidiness for the safety and comfort of all guests.
  • Act as an advocate on safe work practices by ensuring housekeeping employees follow established safety regulations when using work equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, guidelines, work processes and standard operating procedures by providing guidance to junior staff and new hires.
  • Organize, prioritize, and delegate work assignments to ensure efficient turnover of guest rooms.
  • Conduct daily briefings with employees and maintain effective communication within the department.
  • Ensure that all lost and found items are handed to the Housekeeper immediately according to SOP.
  • Ensure that all floor pantries are equipped with adequate supplies.
  • Maintain motivation levels of the housekeeping employees to sustain a cohesive team.
  • Conduct twice‑daily inspections of Room Attendant equipment and cleaning machinery to ensure proper working condition.
  • Conduct room checks on rooms cleaned by the Room Attendants using the room inspection checklist.
  • Inspect each room in the assigned area, whether vacant, occupied, check‑out or out of order, as well as the corridors, service areas and storeroom using the standard Supervisor checklist.
  • Report maintenance issues within the assigned area to the Housekeeper.
Requirements
  • O‑Level or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in Hotel Housekeeping.
  • Proactive, meticulous, able to perform strenuous activities and handle heavy load.
