Job summary

A respected funeral service provider in Singapore is seeking a dedicated individual for a role involving call center management and coordination of funeral arrangements. The ideal candidate should be proficient in English and Chinese to communicate effectively with clients and possess a Class 3 driver's license. Skills such as good interpersonal communication and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment are essential. Shift work and availability during public holidays are required for this position.

Qualifications

• Ability to converse well in English and Chinese to liaise with clients.
• Relevant industry experience is an advantage.
• Comfortable working in the funeral industry.

Responsibilities

• Manning call center hotlines and establishing prompt follow-up actions.
• Coordinating funeral arrangements effectively.
• Handling client meetings in various formats and locations.
• Transferring the deceased to funeral homes.
• Working closely with operational staff and Finance Team.

Job Description:

• Proficient in manning call center hotlines and establishing prompt follow-up actions
• Establish good coordination on funeral arrangements
• Versatile with client meetings performed within office premises, on-site visits, and over virtual communication platforms
• Transfer the dearly departed to funeral homes
• Work closely with operations staff and Finance Team
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

• To converse well in English and Chinese (to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients and Chinese monks)
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good team player with good interpersonal communication skills
• Self-motivated, meticulous, and independent
• Possess class 3 driver's license
• Relevant industry experience is an advantage
• Comfortable working in the funeral industry
• Able to do shift work, and work on Public Holidays and Overtime
