Job summary

As an Audit professional, you will deliver quality auditing services, understand complex accounting concepts, plan engagement objectives, direct field work, supervise junior staff and maintain client relationships throughout the year.

Qualifications

• A degree in Accountancy (or related studies) or have completed a professional Accountancy qualification.
• Minimum 6 months of external audit experience, including recent external audit experience gained within the past two years.
• Prior external audit exposure in the financial services sector is preferred, including insurance, banking, or asset management industries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality auditing services to clients and their stakeholders.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations.
• Collaborate to plan engagement objectives and an audit strategy that complies with professional standards and appropriately address risk.
• Direct field work, manage engagement economics and inform supervisors of the audit engagement status.
• Monitor the engagement team's progress against the plan and alter it when needed.
• Supervise junior engagement team members and develop them through effectively delegating audit tasks and providing guidance to assurance staff.
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with audit client personnel, assess audit clients' satisfaction and proactively maintain contact with the audit client throughout the year.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A degree in Accountancy (or related studies) or have completed a professional Accountancy qualification
