A reputable association in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, including procurement, budgeting, and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience, with strong leadership and analytical skills being essential. The Asst Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing SAFRA’s procurement, payments, budgeting, and financial reporting processes. This role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of financial operations, while driving improvements in systems and processes to support organizational goals.
Oversee and manage SAFRA’s procurement, payments, and budgeting functions to ensure effective financial governance.
Establish and maintain robust systems and processes for monthly financial reporting and accounts payable.
Ensure timely, complete, and accurate preparation of monthly management and financial reports.
Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with statutory regulations, financial policies, and procedures.
Review and enhance financial systems and work processes, leveraging technology to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure timely submission of quarterly GST filings to IRAS and other statutory reports to the Department of Statistics.
Uphold compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) in handling financial data.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, including career planning and performance management.
Implement and monitor workplan objectives for the Finance Division.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in financial management, with at least [3] years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, procurement processes, and reporting standards.
Proficient in financial systems and tools; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
