Description
  • Manage the full financial reporting cycle for a Business Unit (BU), including monthly entity‑level closing, sub‑group consolidation, management reporting, compliance, and treasury oversight.
  • Review work performed by Finance Assistants (AP, bank admin, FA register, GST/WHT filings).
  • Validate intercompany invoicing, perform balance reconciliations, and prepare settlement proposals (netting, offsetting, cash settlement).
  • Monitor and manage BU cash flow, liquidity positions, and treasury activities, including forecasting and cash optimization.
  • Lead monthly closings, sub‑group consolidations, and deliver performance analysis in management reports.
  • Support BU budget preparation and provide variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory audit, corporate tax, GST, and withholding tax requirements; liaise with auditors and tax agents.
  • Collaborate with BU operations, HQ finance, and other group entities for smooth reporting processes.
  • Support ERP implementation, data migration, testing, and process improvements.
  • Enhance internal controls, documentation, and reporting workflows.
Profile
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or CA designation is an advantage
  • 4‑5 years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to Big 4 or mid‑tier audit firms
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., Oracle)
  • Solid understanding of Singapore GST and corporate tax regulations
  • Experience in financial reporting, compliance, and month‑end closing processes
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem‑solving mindset
