Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to overseas finance team on monthly closing.
  • Timely and accurate submission of monthly financial & management accounts.
  • Liaise with tax consultants on accurate and on-time preparation and submission of tax returns to the relevant authorities.
  • Ensure that record keeping complies with legislative requirements.
  • Liaise with external auditors and professional advisors on related matters.
  • Ensure smooth and accurate finance cash flows.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
  • Develop and implement financial SOP to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Implement internal controls and processes which can enhance the operational and financial/accounting efficiencies.
  • Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost control.
Financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
  • Analyse monthly actual performance compared to budget and reasons for variances.
  • Report regularly on key performance indicators.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process.
  • Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CFA is a plus.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Mircosoft Business Central, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
