About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Assistant Finance Manager to support the Regional Finance Controller in managing all aspects of financial operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and process optimization while providing strategic insights to drive business performance. The Assistant Finance Manager will act as a key support member to the Regional Finance Controller, assisting in financial planning, analysis, and execution of initiatives that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations
  • Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
  • Support the Regional Finance Controller in overseeing cash flow management, optimizing returns, and minimizing financial risk.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial reports, including cash flow statements, budgets, and forecasts, under the guidance of the Regional Finance Controller.
  • Assist in variance analysis and provide actionable insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Review financial data for discrepancies and implement systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations.
Compliance & Internal Controls
  • Support the Regional Finance Controller in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with auditors to ensure proper compliance and facilitate audits.
  • Help enforce robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Strategic Collaboration & Business Partnering
  • Work closely with the Regional Finance Controller to provide financial insights and recommendations for business initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships across business units to align financial goals with organizational objectives.
Process Optimization
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Assist in leveraging technology and strategic planning tools to streamline workflows.
