A growing finance company in Singapore seeks an experienced finance manager to handle daily activities and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance, 5 years of relevant experience including a supervisory role, and proficiency in Xero Accounting and Microsoft Excel. This position involves managing financial compliance and supporting budgets and audits, offering a competitive salary and career development opportunities.
Handle daily finance activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
Prepare and record accurate and timely journal entries for transactions such as bank movements, prepayments, fixed asset depreciation, and accruals.
Check vendor invoices, staff claims, and patient refund requests for completeness and accuracy.
Manage month-end and year-end closing tasks, including journal postings, accruals, and account reconciliations.
Compile and review financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
Carry out monthly reconciliations of all intercompany transactions to ensure consistent and accurate balances.
Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial performance analyses.
Perform variance analysis and track cash flow and profitability across clinic entities.
Ensure all CPF, IRAS, GST, and relevant statutory requirements are met.
Monitor cash flow and project both short-term and long-term funding needs.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and corporate secretarial service providers.
Maintain proper documentation, internal controls, and audit trails.
Supervise and mentor finance executives and assistants, reviewing and guiding their work.
Work closely with operations and clinic teams to align financial processes with operational needs.
Identify and implement improvements, automation opportunities, and efficiency enhancements within the finance department.
Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification
5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
Experience in Xero Accounting and Microsoft Excel.
