Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly closing and management reporting.
  • Reviewing of the actual and forecast details of the monthly cargo.
  • Preparation of ad hoc monthly reports requested by management.
  • Reviewing and submission of GST to IRAS within deadline.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of quarterly reporting to management.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors for quarterly audit review.
  • Reviewing of financial statements and ensure timely submission of compliance requirements.
  • Reviewing of ECI and submission to IRAS.
  • Preparation of annual corporate tax and review the tax computation.
  • Compilation and review of information for submission to Enterprise Singapore.
  • Review of transfer pricing documentation prepared by Tax Agent.
  • Preparation of the KYC and enquiries of the bank.
  • Monitor cashflow.
  • Reviews and monitors trade finance operations.
  • Negotiates with financial institutions on credit facilities.
  • Develop financing strategies to ensure trades are financed.
  • Develop trade record guidelines and policies.
  • Evaluate latest technology trends to improve productivity.
  • Manage daily transactional requirements.
  • Inspect trade documents to maintain compliance.
  • Monitor portfolio exposures.
  • Review trade clearing and settlement process.
  • Maintain positive interaction with traders and customers.
  • Responsible for development of financial plan.
  • Monitor and control financial and accounting activities.
  • Establish relationship among financial institutions.
  • Preparing budgeting and forecasting for the business.

Job description
Accounting
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly closing and management reporting (i.e. monthly profit and loss, balance sheet, trial balance, intercompany reconciliation and trade report).
  • Reviewing of the actual and forecast details of the monthly cargo.
  • Preparation of ad hoc monthly reports requested by management.
  • Reviewing and submission of GST to IRAS within deadline.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of quarterly reporting to management.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors for quarterly audit review and providing the necessary information.
  • Reviewing of financial statements and ensure timely submission of compliance requirements.
  • Reviewing of ECI and submission to IRAS.
  • Preparation of annual corporate tax and review the tax computation prepared by tax agent to ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations.
  • Compilation and review of information for submission to Enterprise Singapore in relation to GTP annual survey within deadline.
  • Review of transfer pricing documentation prepared by Tax Agent and ensure it is accordance to the Company’s transfer pricing guideline.
  • Preparation of the KYC and enquiries of the bank to ensure smooth operation in opening of bank accounts.
  • Monitor cashflow.
Finance
  • Reviews and monitors trade finance operations.
  • Negotiates with financial institutions on the organization’s need for credit facilities.
  • Develop financing strategies to ensure trades are financed.
  • Develop trade record guidelines and policies to promote efficiency and compliance.
  • Evaluate latest technology trends that can be leveraged to improve productivity and innovation.
  • Manage daily transactional requirements to optimize trade finance applications and working capital requirements.
  • Inspect trade documents to maintain compliance with terms.
  • Monitor portfolio exposures to identify areas for growth and overexposed areas.
  • Review trade clearing and settlement process to ensure all accounts are updated and transfer of money is arranged.
  • Maintain positive and proactive interaction with traders and customer to ensure ongoing exchange of quality financial information.
  • Responsible for development of financial plan to support long-term and short-term strategy.
  • Monitor and control financial and accounting activities to be in line with the company policy and to meet company goal.
  • Establish relationship and reputation among financial institutions to provide company financial facilities and security.
  • Preparing budgeting and forecasting for the business.
  • Responsible for strengthening current practices and procedures and make recommendations for improvements.
