Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee a team of Engineers and Technicians. Responsibilities include managing operations, leading emergency repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of Facilities Management experience, specifically in laboratories, and be able to start immediately. Qualifications

Job description

Oversee and manage the team of Engineers, Technicians (including sub-contractors) in all the disciplines within the contractual work scope for smooth operations maintenance.

Lead emergency repairs, breakdowns and fault-finding.

Provide technical support and attendance when necessary as authorized personnel in managing and coordinating with the appointed specialist Contractors.

Ensure all operational issues and emergencies are attended promptly and rectified with minimal inconvenience and disruption.

Collate and manage technical specifications, O&M documentation and technical drawing.

Monitor preventative maintenance programmes.

Maintain accurate records, prepare monthly progress reports, certification of work complete to the required standard, issue and control of variation orders.

Oversees repair and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems and determine the frequency of repair and maintenance.

Oversees and optimise the use of resources, utilities and services to achieve cost savings and sustainability targets.

Monitor and track all maintenance/ad hoc works and their progress status.

Monitoring of KPIs to ensure compliance with performance framework.

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health and environmental regulations.

Any other ad-hoc works assignment by the management/superior.

Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management with at least 3 years for laboratories.
  • Able to commence work immediately or within short notice preferred.
