Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive technical support to the commercial team through analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Perform failure analysis and benchmark testing to identify defects.
  • Support production and logistics teams in related tasks.
  • Assist R&D Team with developing new analytical methods.
  • Set up and maintain laboratory equipment while preparing SOPs.
  • Manage laboratory inventory, including consumables.
  • Participate as an ISO 17025 committee member to uphold QMS standards.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive technical support to the commercial team through technical data analysis, competitor grade comparison, and troubleshooting for both pre-sales and after-sales activities, while collaborating with global teams to standardize testing methods, conduct evaluations, and perform benchmarking tests as required.
  • Perform failure analysis, benchmark testing, and both destructive and nondestructive testing to identify physical defects in materials or products.
  • Support production and logistics teams in production-related tasks and incoming/inprocess quality operations.
  • Assist R&D Team with benchmark testing and development of new analytical methods based on customer requirements.
  • Execute standard laboratory procedures, maintain proper documentation, and ensure accurate recording of experimental data.
  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs), and coordinate with vendors for technical issues.
  • Manage laboratory inventory, including consumables and spare parts.
  • Participate as an ISO 17025 committee member to maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure tests are conducted according to ISO standards.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree and above in Polymer Science, Chemistry, or related field. Candidates with a Chemical background will also be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of polymers and plastics.
  • Training provided for those without/lesser experience
