Service Engineer Job Scope
- Supervise and manage daily on-site operations and workforce activities.
- Conduct daily briefings for workers and subcontractors, and manage deployment plans.
- Plan, coordinate, and track project progress to meet deadlines and schedules.
- Collaborate with other departments and manage resource allocation, particularly for onboard vessel work.
- Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Handle maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of marine electrical systems, both in the workshop and onboard vessels.
- Test electrical systems and check circuit continuity using tools like multimeters, insulation testers, and process calibrators.
- Assist in the repair and overhaul of electrical components both onboard and in-house.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience in troubleshooting, assembly, or repairs (entry‑level candidates are welcome; training will be provided).
- Must possess a valid Class 3 / Class 3A driving license.
Assistant Engineer Job Scope
- Support senior engineers in planning, designing, and implementing projects
- Conduct technical assessments, site inspections, and prepare reports
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving engineering issues
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, installation, and maintenance.
- Able to commit to 12‑hour shifts, including weekends and public holiday duties.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
M&E Engineer Job Scope
- Support the Project Manager in overseeing and coordinating daily project operations to ensure smooth execution.
- Communicate and coordinate with consultants, sub‑contractors, and other stakeholders on project‑related matters.
- Participate in regular meetings with clients, consultants, and sub‑contractors to address project progress and issues.
- Review drawings and technical documents, raising queries to resolve discrepancies and issues encountered during execution.
- Conduct inspections during construction to ensure work meets quality standards and assist in updating the project quality plan as needed.
Requirements
- Possess a Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, or Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with Microsoft Project
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively across all levels
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
