Job summary

A leading engineering and marine company in Singapore seeks a Facilities Manager to lead a team in delivering high standards of maintenance and repair services. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in Engineering and proven experience in facilities supervision, preferably in the marine sector. Strong communication and budget management skills are essential. This role offers a 5-day work week with local transport provided.

  • Lead and supervise the Facilities team to ensure high standards in maintenance and services.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities for uninterrupted operations.
  • Manage and liaise with external service providers for quality contracts.
  • Monitor and control facility budgets and optimize resource deployment.
  • Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of facility-related issues.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the Facilities team to deliver high standards in maintenance, repair, and facility services.
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure uninterrupted operations and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Manage and liaise with external service providers and suppliers to secure quality and cost‑effective contracts.
  • Ensure all facilities comply with statutory and regulatory requirements, promoting a culture of safety, sustainability, and environmental responsibility.
  • Monitor and control facility budgets, optimise resource deployment, and contribute to financial planning and reporting.
  • Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of facility‑related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to support operational needs and implement facility‑related projects and upgrades.
  • Develop and conduct training and development programmes for team members to enhance skills and competencies.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in facilities supervision or servicing and repair, preferably within the marine or heavy industrial sector.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, health and safety standards.

  • Location: Gul (Island-wide transport provided)
  • 5 days work week
  • Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm
