Job summary

Public Service Division is seeking an Assistant Engineer to support depot equipment and maintenance vehicle projects for MRT lines. You will assist in design reviews, interfaces, site delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, and performance monitoring, while preparing technical reports and coordinating meetings.

The role requires knowledge in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, strong writing and communication skills, proficiency with MS Office, and a proactive, hands-on mindset.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Willingness to learn and perform hands-on site work.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Available to work weekends/holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing depot equipment and maintenance vehicle projects for MRT lines.
• Conduct design reviews, manage interfaces, site delivery, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Prepare technical reports and provide administrative support (correspondences, meetings, minutes).
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure timelines.
