Overview

Job Location: Woodleigh

Responsibilities

• Collect daily job notifications from the officers at the start of each work day.
• Carry out site survey at customer’s premises in advance of actual meter fixing/removal/replacement works to assess site conditions (for example, no obstruction to meters, valves on water mains are as per plans).
• Site survey before meter fixing/removal/replacement job, supervision of term contractor’s work.
• Check and record initial readings on new meters and final readings on old meters, including photographic records.
• Serve by taking records of works in progress/completed, ensure work procedures and safety measures are carried out as specified, report any incident promptly, maintain close contact with officers, manage and track the movement of meters including related fittings, supervise metering works as directed and in accordance with daily check sheets.
• Carry out site visits to check meter condition, interview customers to establish facts, and take additional meter readings on site for analysis.
