Job summary

A fire safety company in Singapore is seeking a skilled individual for installation, maintenance, and service of fire alarm and fire protection systems. The role involves troubleshooting and conducting inspections to ensure compliance with standards. Ideal candidates should have a NITEC in Engineering and be independent, quick learners, and preferably possess a Class 3 driving license. This position offers a 5.5-day work week and multiple work sites, creating diverse opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of fire alarm and fire protection systems.
  • Experience in installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire protection systems.
  • Valid Class 3 driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and service fire protection and fire alarm systems.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, repair, testing, and commissioning of Fire Alarm Systems.
  • Inspect and test fire alarm and protection systems on-site.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Possess understanding on the general fire alarm and fire protection systems.
  • Perform wide variety of duties including:
    • Installation, maintenance and servicing of fire protection and fire alarm system
    • Conduct troubleshooting, repair, testing and commissioning of Fire Alarm System (Fire alarm panels, Mimic Panels, Detectors, Fire Modules, etc)
  • Ensure quality work are carried out on time
  • Perform On-site building fire alarm and protection systems inspection and testing in accordance to established standards.
  • Review system breakdown and troubleshoot.
  • Proactively identify system functional problems and weakness and put up improvement proposal to supervisor.
  • Facilitate interface with suppliers, term contractors and liaise with other stakeholders to handle fault and emergencies.
Requirements
  • NITEC in Engineering
  • Subject to working experience in fire/safety industry
  • Team player, Independent and quick learner
  • Preferably possess valid Class 3 driving license, able to drive van
