Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Engineer to support lift performance monitoring and maintenance activities. You will work with contractors and internal teams to ensure compliance with local lift standards and schedules.

The role requires hands-on site visits on short notice, witnessing repairs and parts replacements, and maintaining accurate records while adhering to company procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or higher.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Familiar with BCA and HDB lift operation requirements.

Responsibilities

• monitoring lift performance
• Manage Contractors and performance
• Responsible for all stakeholders regarding lift performance.
• Able to attend site inspection with immediate notice.
• Able to witness and verify site works

Lift parts certification

• To carry out parts certification work with contractor
• To witness contractor’s parts replacement works
• To witness contractor’s repairing and trouble shotting works
• Maintain accurate and updated records of parts replacement.
• Collaborate with team members and service providers to ensure timely and effective maintenance schedule.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Any other work that is assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical and Electrical preferred) and above
• Prior 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
• Computer skills are required, familiar with BCA and HDB requirements for Lift operations.
