Job summary

A dynamic systems integration company in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, along with 2 years of experience in a related role. Job description

We are seeking an Assistant Engineer to join our dynamic team at Orion Systems Integration Pte Ltd, based in the Gambas Crescent Region. In this full-time role, you will be involved in the assembly, installation, troubleshooting, and support of automation systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in automation, mechanical design, and troubleshooting, with an eagerness to grow within a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble automation systems and components in-house based on detailed drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM).

  • Ensure all assembly processes adhere to technical specifications, quality standards, and safety guidelines.

  • Assist the design team with assembly and testing tasks, providing valuable feedback for improvement.

  • Collaborate with design engineers to review and verify assembly instructions, ensuring accurate and efficient production.

  • Perform testing and quality checks of assembled automation systems before deployment.

  • Maintain detailed records of field activities, including system setups, troubleshooting steps, and solutions.

  • Create and update technical manuals, reports, and operational guidelines.

  • Provide on-site machine servicing and support to customers.

Requirement
  • Minimum2 yearsof experience in a related role, preferably inAutomation,Mechanical Design, orElectrical.

  • Diploma inMechatronics,Mechanical, orElectrical Engineering.

  • PC proficiency in 3D CAD Software will be advantage.
