Position Title: Assistant Electrical Engineer
Working Location: Cleantech Loop (Jurong West)
Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday 9AM - 6PM)
Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $3,000 + Variable Bonus
Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop hardware for battery protection circuits, including choosing and controlling contactors and relays.
• Create and develop battery sensor circuits, focusing on circuit design, component selection, and testing/calibrating sensors for voltage, current, and temperature.
• Develop software for battery protection schemes in the Battery Management System (BMS), covering protections for over/under voltage, current, and temperature.
• Evaluate the battery's State-of-Charge (SoC) and develop the related firmware in the BMS.
• Research, compare, and select the appropriate microcontroller unit (MCU) to implement the BMS firmware.

Qualifications

• Higher Nitec/Diploma in Electrical or Power Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in designing and testing BMS protection circuits.
• Firmware development skills for MCU in battery protection.
• Skills in designing and testing measurement circuits in BMS.
• Experience with sourcing and procuring electrical components.
• Skills in project planning and implementation.
