The Assistant Editor will join our team to support a leading global streaming service, working on rotational shifts as part of a 24-hour team across several offices locations. The ideal candidate will prepare, edit, and deliver high-quality video content using Adobe Creative Suite, ensuring alignment with client guidelines. They should possess the ability to mentor junior editors, and have a proactive approach to troubleshooting and workflow development.

Shift work is required for this position.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Prepare materials using Premiere, After Effects and Media Encoder
  • Edit materials using Adobe Creative Suite, and conform and deliver them as per requirements
  • Conduct quality control (QC) to ensure materials meet client guidelines
  • Basic understanding of color grading
  • Ensure accuracy of file naming conventions while maintaining an organized and clean folder structure
  • Guide junior editors to ensure alignment with evolving workflows and processes
  • Collaborate with team leads to develop new workflows
  • Serve as an expert on AE work and provide support to the global team
  • Monitor project status and progress, ensuring timely completion and delivery
  • Pro-actively identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise
  • Ensure accurate and timely time reporting across all platforms
  • Maintain current project status updates on Airtable

Compensation: $2,500 - 3,500 basic monthly salary
