Join SingHealth's Technology Development & Commercialisation Department as we launch an exciting new initiative. We're establishing the SingHealth Drug and Diagnostic Development Engine (SinD3E) to translate breakthrough medical research into real-world healthcare solutions. As Assistant Director, you'll lead our diagnostic development efforts, working to bring SingHealth's innovative diagnostic technologies to market.
What You Will Do
- Promote awareness of SinD3E's capabilities by engaging with clinicians and researchers across SingHealth institutes and presenting at internal workshops focused on technology development and commercialisation.
- Develop external partnerships with academic centres, research institutes, clinical sites, and commercial partners to showcase institutional capabilities and create collaboration opportunities.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to guide diagnostic technologies through proper development pathways towards successful commercialisation.
- Identify and engage potential licensees for SingHealth's diagnostic intellectual property portfolio, supporting licensing negotiations and agreement execution.
- Support translational funding applications, focusing on technology development and commercialisation.
- Organise educational symposia and forums on diagnostic development topics to build knowledge and capability across the organisation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or bioscience with 10 years of technology development and commercialisation experience in a diagnostic development environment
- Deep knowledge of development, testing and regulatory processes in the diagnostic industry
- Proven experience in corporate partnerships and negotiating agreements
- Strong project management experience
- Preference for candidates with entrepreneurial experience or startup environment background
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to structure conceptual solutions
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and team‑oriented approach
