What you will be working on:

You will be planning & executing communication research projects and presenting insights to facilitate data-driven outcomes for the MOT Family’s strategic communications efforts, leading to greater understanding, appreciation & pride in Singapore’s Transport story and systems. Join us to connect and move people via Singapore’s dynamic land, air and sea transport sectors!

  • a) Support & execute communications research framework and workflow for the MOT Family
  • b) Working with multiple stakeholders to develop and execute communication research projects (e.g. sensing reports for identified MOT Family issues and announcements, brand perception studies) to ensure that our communication efforts resonate with key stakeholders within an ever-changing operating environment (e.g. how public perceptions and behaviours are shaped by various influences & recommending potential interventions to improve comms & engagement outcomes)
  • c) Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of research to assess effects of strategic communication campaigns on public perception
  • d) Develop a system to integrate various data sources to holistically evaluate and guide the MOT family’s communications & engagement efforts
  • e) Support the planning and execution of message testing and red teaming to shape comms & engagement strategies
  • f) Building predictive analysis capabilities for MOT Family’s sense‑making of public sentiments and issues through existing and emerging research tools and technologies
  • g) Work with Strategic Comms planning and media/marketing operations colleagues to refine comms actions and responses based on data‑driven insights
  • h) Performing administrative duties including procurement, budget monitoring, financial duties, business review of agencies/vendors, etc.

About Ministry of Transport

The Mission of Ministry of Transport is to develop Singapore's land, sea and air transport sectors so as to enhance our economic competitiveness and quality of life in a knowledge‑based economy. MOT oversees the development and regulation of the following sectors: the ministry also strives to make Singapore an international civil aviation and maritime centre for the region. The ministry sets the strategic and policy direction while operations and regulatory works are carried out by the statutory boards under its charge. There are four statutory boards which are established by Acts of Parliament: the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), the Land Transport Authority (LTA), the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and the Public Transport Council (PTC). The ministry also oversees the operation of the Transport Safety Investigation Bureau (TSIB).
