About the Role

As an Assistant Director in the Registries of Patents, Designs and Plant Varieties, you'll be instrumental in shaping one of the world's top-ranked IP regimes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct evidence-based policy formulation through research, analysis and stakeholder consultation
  • Develop recommendations to strengthen Singapore’s IP ecosystem
  • Shape and implement Singapore IP Strategy 2030 initiatives
  • Lead policy rollout through legislative amendments, operational implementation and stakeholder engagement
  • Monitor policy effectiveness and outcomes
  • Monitor international IP developments to assess impact on Singapore
  • Advance Singapore’s interests at ASEAN and World IP Organization meetings

  • Background in intellectual property, especially in the area of Patents and Designs, will be advantageous
