Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented ADOS Corporate Sales to lead the hotel's room sales strategy and drive top-line revenue growth. This leadership role is pivotal in developing strong client relationships, expanding corporate and group business, and positioning the property as a preferred accommodation partner in the competitive hospitality market.
Key Responsibilities
As the Assistant Director of Sales, you will:
- Lead the room sales team to achieve revenue and market share targets across corporate, group, and wholesale segments.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate key markets and secure new business opportunities.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value corporate and travel trade accounts, ensuring strong repeat business and account retention.
- Conduct regular sales calls, site inspections, and client engagement activities to strengthen relationships and drive bookings.
- Collaborate closely with the Revenue, Marketing, and Operations teams to align on rate strategy, promotions, and guest experience initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to improve results.
- Mentor, coach, and motivate the sales team to meet individual and departmental goals.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, industry events, and client functions as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 58 years of sales experience in hospitality, with at least 23 years in a senior room sales or leadership role.
- Proven track record in driving room revenue and managing high-profile corporate or group accounts.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent understanding of hotel sales systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi/FDC, Salesforce) and CRM tools.
- Ability to think strategically and implement effective sales initiatives.
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset.
- Being well-connected within the corporate and travel trade markets is an added advantage.
