About the Company

We are representing a well-established healthcare institution in Singapore that is seeking a seasoned operations leader to oversee key non-clinical functions across the organisation. This role offers the opportunity to support essential hospital operations, drive service excellence, and contribute to the smooth functioning of a mission-critical healthcare environment.

About the Role

In this leadership position, you will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of hospital operational services, including facilities, biomedical engineering, materials management, security, housekeeping, food services, and medical records. You will ensure that all support functions operate efficiently, meet regulatory requirements, and align with the hospital’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance, enhancement, and operational readiness of all hospital buildings, infrastructure, and equipment.
  • Develop long-term facilities development and renovation plans.
  • Manage biomedical engineering services, including medical equipment maintenance, lifecycle planning, and acquisitions.
  • Lead supply chain activities, ensuring timely procurement, inventory control, and distribution of medical and general supplies.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
  • Supervise food service operations, ensuring high standards of nutrition, hygiene, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure accurate, confidential, and compliant management of patient medical records.
  • Lead security operations to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors, including the implementation of security protocols.
  • Manage housekeeping, hygiene standards, laundry, and linen services to support patient care.
  • Oversee landscaping and pest management activities to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Provide leadership to departmental heads and operational teams.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and support departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and operational planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost-optimisation efforts.
  • Ensure adherence to all policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Undertake any additional duties as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, facilities management, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in hospital operations, facilities management, or similar fields.
  • At least 15 years of relevant leadership experience.
  • Strong people management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
