Job summary

Job description
What the role is:

You lead a team in redeveloping the Army Museum of Singapore through curation of artefacts, research of Army history, and development of engaging visitor experiences, including the Army's segment in the National Service (NS) Gallery.

What you will be working on:
  • Provide curatorial oversight for museum revamp
  • Manage artefact displays and systems
  • Develop key heritage stories
  • Coordinate worksite management
  • Interface with contractors and partners
Challenge(s)
  • Ensuring the contractor effectively translates the curatorial vision into one that is attractive and engaging to visitors
  • Harmonising workstreams across MINDEF and Army stakeholders
What we are looking for:
  • Education in History, Museum Studies or relevant Social Sciences field
  • At least 6 years of curatorial content development experience
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to supervise and manage a team
