Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Cook in food preparation activities.
• Clean and sanitise the food preparation areas.
• Wash, disinfect and store cooking utensils.
• Buy, weigh and store ingredients.
• Operate kitchen appliances and instruments.
• Manage inventory and organise the storeroom.
• Maintain clean work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Develop new menu items and improve existing ones.
• Manage kitchen expenses within budgetary limits.
