Job summary
A leading construction firm in Singapore seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee high-rise projects. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years in management roles, with over 7 years in project management for buildings over 300m. Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are critical. The position involves planning construction activities, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Qualifications

- Familiar with local construction practices and handover processes.

Job Descriptions
- Construction planning for meeting the project mile stone
- Project resources include manpower and machinery for the project
- Prepare WBS for the project task for resources planning
- Prepare checklist for procurement of project resources, delivery and installation
- Plan and execute the project to meet the Quality target (Quality Mark, CONQUAS and hand over requirement)
- Plan the construction in consider of ESH requirement.
- Attend meeting with Authority for inspection and approvals
- Meet with Consultant, subcontractor and supplier for project update
- Implement Buildability and constructability approaches
- Propose Value engineering for the project and plan for cost reduction value engineering
- Lead the project team for daily progress update and troubleshoot site constraint and issue with respective stakeholder
- Review and reconcile material, test report, sample and method statement submitted by subcontractor and supplier for project objective.
- Collaborate with consultant for construction submission for approvals.
- Prepare submission and application to authority for project execution, project completion and hand over.
- Plane the regular safety and environment inspection with site team.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years' experience as a high-level management of sub-contractors and suppliers and all internal and external interfaces.
- Preferrable more than 7 years of project management experience in the high-rise projects (at least 300m) and mixed development in building projects
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in engineering and construction management.
- Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and Projects, and CCS.
- Familiar with local construction experience and hand over.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
- Skilled at solving conflicts between different project members and staff.
- Outstanding negotiation, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
