Job Overview

We are currently seeking a proactive and reliable Assistant Chef to join our kitchen team. This position will support the Head Chef and team in the preparation and production of daily dim sum and other menu items, ensuring consistent food quality and maintaining kitchen hygiene and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and production of various dim sum and other menu items
  • Follow standard recipes and instructions from the Head Chef/supervisors in food preparation
  • Handle and prepare basic ingredients such as dough, fillings, sauces, etc.
  • Assist with plating and presentation to ensure consistency and visual appeal
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area and kitchen at all times
  • Properly handle, store, and label food items
  • Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Assist in receiving, organizing, and storing kitchen ingredients and supplies
  • Carry out daily assigned cleaning dutiesDemonstrate a learning attitude and provide support to other kitchen stations as required
