JOB DESCRIPTION
- Ensure all banquet functions are properly set up, organized, and executed in accordance with established service standards.
- Prepare monthly and weekly forecasts and distribute them to the relevant departments.
- Verify and ensure the timely submission of daily bar inventory and par reports, reconciling them against restaurant or bar sales reports at the end of each shift.
- Develop and manage effective duty rosters to ensure adequate manpower based on business volume.
- Maintain clear communication and coordination with related departments such as Banquet Sales, Kitchen, and other operational areas.
- Attend daily F&B briefings, F&B meetings (in the absence of the Banquet Manager), and other required training sessions and meetings.
- Monitor and control breakages and losses within the banquet section.
- Lead and supervise banquet service teams to uphold service standards and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Oversee and implement the cleaning and maintenance schedule for the banquet areas.
- Handle banquet booking inquiries and coordinate special arrangements as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Banquet Manager or management.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
- At least 4–5 years of experience in banquet service, with proven supervisory or leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of banquet operations and high-end service standards.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in computer applications relevant to the role.
- Highly organized, with strong planning, communication, and people management skills.
