Assistant/Admin Executive (Operations)
About the role
Handle and manage procurement and other administration duties for the on-site cooking service to residents and staff in the Nursing Homes.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for sourcing of food ingredients and kitchen equipment / appliances and prepare purchase order
- Ensure timely procurement of food ingredients and kitchen equipment / appliances in support of on-site cooking in the Nursing Home.
- Handle contracts and all aspects with vendor for food supplies and kitchen equipment / appliances (if any)
- Tracking and monitor delivery of supplies
- Ensure the kitchen is well stocked
- Monitor stock movement
- Managing inventory
- Handling daily phone calls /emails related to the on-site kitchen matters
- Maintain fillings system and manage office supplies relate to the on-site cooking
- Able to provide simple reporting / provide information /data whenever required
- Any other task required by the Manager/Management
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in business administration or related fields
- At least 2 years’ experience in administration supporting Food & Beverage business related
- Working experience in healthcare setting would be an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office Word, Power point and Excel.
- Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
- Good command of English both verbal and written.
- Able to communicate in Chinese or Malay is additional benefit to communicate with vendor and chefs
- Able to work independently and with a team.
- Meticulous in paper work
- Problem solver and pro-active.
