Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join the Finance team in Singapore. The role covers the full spectrum of accounting, including GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets for assigned entities, with a focus on timely reporting and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will support budgeting, cash flow analysis, and sustainability reporting initiatives, while liaising with auditors and subsidiaries to ensure accurate financial statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related discipline is required.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience including full-set accounting and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, GST, and regulatory requirements.
• Interest or experience in sustainability reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the full spectrum of finance operations for assigned subsidiaries.

Job description

Our client is a leading Real Estate company. They are looking for a Assistant Accountant to assist their Finance team for the next phrase of their business. They are located at Central of Singapore– easily accessible.

Duties

• Own the Full Spectrum of Finance Operations – Manage the full set of accounts, including GL, AP, AR and fixed assets, for assigned subsidiaries.
• Drive Financial Reporting & Compliance – Prepare quarterly financial reports, tax computations, GST submissions and statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Be a Key Player in Financial Planning – Support annual budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring and financial analysis across the business.
• Gain Exposure to Group-Level Operations – Handle intercompany reconciliations, work closely with multiple subsidiaries and liaise with external auditors and stakeholders.
• Expand into ESG & Sustainability Reporting – Support sustainability reporting, ESG data analysis, regulatory disclosures and initiatives, offering exposure beyond traditional finance.
• Make an Impact in a Growing & Evolving Role – Contribute to finance and sustainability initiatives while taking on a broad range of responsibilities and ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline, and/or a recognised professional accounting qualification.
• Good knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, GST requirements, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, including experience in full-set accounting and financial reporting. Experience in the real estate sector is an advantage.
• Interest in sustainability matters and willingness to develop knowledge of sustainability reporting and related regulatory requirements will be an added advantage
